Dwayne McDuffie, co-founder of barrier breaking Milestone Comics, creator of Static Shock, head writer on Ben 10, Justice League Unlimited, and so many other great works of fiction, has passed away.
This is a truly sad moment for me, as he introduced to a comic world that had characters that felt more like “me”. Not just in color, but storyline, and emotions. His power was the ability to mimic reality in the small moments.
He was practically an activist in terms of creating diversity in comics, and he was a very important person in my growth as a reader. I will sorely miss you Dwayne. Thank you for everything. Thank you so much.
